Location
The Elephant Court is located close to the Thekkady forests, about a kilometer from Kumali in the Southern Indian state of Kerala. The Thekkadi forests are home, both, to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and to the Asiatic Elephant. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best tropical wildlife sanctuaries in the world and is the repository of rare endemic flora and fauna.
